We are a group of local friends and residents who have come together to regenerate our much loved “Brushfield Park.” Built in the mid 80s as part of a housing estate it has stood the decades of fun, laughter and inclement weather with just a few licks of paint.
Seeing the park shut during lockdown only heightened its need for major improvements, with unsafe rubber floor tiles and equipment that’s tired, worn and degraded. Rejuvenation is the only way forward not only to improve the equipment but to implement accessible play for children in wheelchairs who live within the community, giving all children the opportunity to enjoy the facilities and play together.
